The total revenue a customer generates throughout their entire relationship with a brand. LTV is a crucial metric for assessing customer acquisition profitability — acquisition cost (CAC) should be significantly lower than LTV. Increasing LTV is achieved through email marketing, loyalty programs, and excellent service.
